 Slab building technique -traditional  form of handbuilding, dating back to 18,000 years ago.

We will roll out the slab by hand using a rolling pin. Then, we will form it the way we like to make our final design.

We will make a tall vase, fruit bowl or both if you like that.

 The art of pottery differs in instinctivety, so get ready to forget about the “right” clay forming and let yourself craft asymmetric and imprecise articles.

This technique is meditative, relaxing and suitable for any level.

1. Instructions in english, dutch or bulgarian;

2. Min 2 people

3. Max of 6 people

4. No need of experience with clay.

5. Tea, coffee and snacks included.

6. After the workshop,  your work should first dry,then it wil be fired til 940°, then glazed en then fired again til 1240°...be patient.

7. You can come pick your work(in 3/4 weeks).

8. Workshop is held in Maastricht.
